Sustainable Long Life solutions from Aura Light at Wexiödisk

Wexiödisk in Sweden is replacing the majority of their luminaires to Aura Light’s sustainable Long Life solutions and is lowering the wattage from 58W to 45W. “It’s great if we can save energy while being sustainable”.

Wexiödisk develops and produces sustainable and high quality products for professional dish washing. The company is located in Växjö in Sweden and has about 160 employees. Dish washing machines use large amounts of energy, water and chemicals. That is the reason to why Wexiödisk has focused on the environmental aspect, which results in new, unique products.

Sustainable lighting with solutions from Aura Light

Wexiödisk is replacing the majority of their luminaires to Aura Light’s sustainable Long Life solutions and is lowering the wattage from 58W to 45W, which contributes to huge energy savings. Christer Axelsson, Property Manager at Wexiödisk explains.

“The luminaires from Aura Light give a good color rendering, despite the lower wattage. This was the best solution for us economically without having to lower the quality. Furthermore, the Long Life fluorescent lamps have a long durability”.

Christer Axelsson says that when making such a decision, there is always an environmental aspect that they have to take into account. “It’s great if we can save energy while being sustainable. By changing from T8 fluorescents to T5 with lower wattage we’re making a huge energy saving”.
