Contract Award – Sludge Digestion Equipment for Wastewater Treatment Plant Kassel, Germany

Passavant-Roediger has been awarded with the contract for supply of the complete mechanical equipment for a new sludge digester incl. installation of pumps, pipeworks, measuring devices, heat exchangers and connection to the existing facilities of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Kassel, Germany.

The sludge digester has a size of 7,500 m³.

The project scope further includes the installation of a sludge heating system into one of the two already existing sludge digesters to allow for a parallel operation, the implementation of a supplement to the heating system of the second digester as well as a replacement of some operational pumps.

Client is “Kasselwasser”.

Capacity of the plant is 335,000 PE.
