When Cabestan was founded in 1998 by a group of five highly committed partners, the business was driven by the idea to develop e-commerce software solutions. Its focus on email marketing was successful right from the beginning.

In 2012, Cabestan was acquired by Mediapost. “Back then, Mediapost wanted to gain a foothold in the digital campaign management solutions market,” explains Managing Director Lionel Hubschwerlin, who was one of the five company founders and the only one who is still active within the business.

Today, Cabestan is a highly respected provider of CRM solutions with offices and agents in Spain, Canada and the UK. Personalized multichannel marketing campaigns are fully adapted to individual customer behaviour.

“We are able to manage customer data in real time,” stresses Mr. Hubschwerlin. “Our strength is the optimization of customer relations via email with multichannel data. Our customers benefit from our ability to translate complex technology into user-friendly solutions that make procedures easy and secure to handle.”

A workforce of 70 employees supports customers throughout entire projects – from the first analysis to the final evaluation. The company’s offer covers the entire CRM value chain; consulting, publication and integration of CRM platforms, implementation of campaigns, data analyses, reporting, and optimization are important cornerstones of the portfolio.

“Basically, everything is about engaging with customers and understanding their needs,” underlines Mr. Hubschwerlin. “If you want loyal customers, it is absolutely crucial that you know them really well. For this reason, individual customer communication plays a pivotal role.”

Well-known companies and institutions such as La Poste, the soccer club Paris Saint-Germain and GDF Suez rely on Cabestan’s outstanding CRM competence and experience.

“Our customer range is quite broad,” says Mr. Hubschwerlin. “We work for banks, insurance companies, retailers, media companies and soccer clubs. To further consolidate our market position, we started investing more and more in big data solutions. Luckily, we are supported by La Poste, which is a great advantage.”
