Roberto Bello is the President of the Board of Administration and also the co-owner of Co.ge.man, together with his father. It is the personal interest and passion of the two generations of owners that led to the company’s venture into the nautical sector.
“My father and I want to construct the most innovative boats and yachts to astonish the most demanding nautic experts,” Mr. Bello explains. “I am very excited with the result that comes in the shape of our new HERON 56 with its captivating design created by renowned architect Massimo Picco.”
The HERON 56 yacht not only oozes distinction, it also excells through its innovative design. “The underbody of this yacht is the result of in-depth research and was developed through the analysis of hydrodynamic flows of the water lines and the subsequent simulation, which made it possible to build the Heron with absolutely no doubt and no risks in terms of performance levels of its underbody, which is essentially its defining feature,” emphasizes Mr. Bello. “The HERON 56 promises some real excitement at sea thanks to its multipurpose bottom capable of maintaining both high stability and lift.”
At 17 m length and 4.71 m width, powered by Volvo Penta, the HERON 56 represents the borderline between the classic yacht and a true stand-out vessel, combining maximum comfort, low fuel consumption and minimum resistance to low speed allowing smooth navigation along the coast.
The innovative yacht, which has already been patented, caused quite a stir among nautic experts at this years trade show in Naples. It will also be presented at the nautic fairs in Genova and Cannes.
“We only started our official activities in the nautic sector in September 2017 and are very pleased with our dynamic start,” says Mr. Bello. Currently, the company’s entire turnover of around nine million EUR stems entirely from its construction sector. This part of the company focuses on the design, requalification and construction of real estate assets and shopping centres for civil, commercial and industrial use, counting among its customers important players in the pharmaceutical, banking and organized large-scale retail trade.
“We are planning to separate the nautic sector from the construction company,” explains Mr. Bello. With its eight employees and handcraft approach, Co.ge.man is setting out to create unique emotions touching the hidden world of the ocean and bringing it to life beyond its borders.
