“Our primary goal is to provide our partners with a full range of top-of-the-line IT services at a streamlined expediency that none of the other big names are able to achieve,” says Robert Schuhmann, current CEO of FIS-ASP. “Because technology is constantly evolving, companies rely on their internal systems operating at peak performance to ensure the long-term sustainability of their businesses – a solid and secure IT infrastructure can be a ‘make or break’ factor for a burgeoning enterprise.”
Mr. Schuhmann has been active at FIS Group since 1992, watching the company grow and find its footing during the global tech boom. Throughout the years, FIS-ASP found its niche as a full-service provider of SAP, including licensing, further development, maintenance, hosting, hardware, and managing customer service and data centers for companies that achieve an annual turnover of 100 million to 2 billion EUR.
“We come into contact with our customers through tenders,” explains Mr. Schuhmann. “They generally have a certain degree of familiarity in the SAP segment already but are drawn to our capacity to further develop customized SAP-based industrial solutions at a pace unmatched by competitors.”
In light of recent large-scale data security breaches, having a trusted and proactive IT service provider has become increasingly vital to companies across the globe. FISASP hosts one of the most secure and innovative data centers in Europe, as confirmed by its SAP and TÜV security certifications, including the ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.

Besides our expertise in the IT sector, the majority of our long-term partners attribute their satisfaction with our services to having one consistent and attentive contact person within the company. Robert SchuhmannCEO
“We have an entire department dedicated to ensuring the safekeeping of our clients’ data through a variety of robust security packages,” highlights Mr. Schuhmann. “Because many firms are transitioning away from hardware for data storage in favour of Hyper-Cloud platforms, guaranteeing data protection has become an unquestionably sound investment.”
Although FIS-ASP’s workforce of 110 employees is distributed among three data centers within Germany, the company also caters to numerous international clients. “I would estimate about 25% of our customers are foreign enterprises. We have several Swiss companies as well as corporations based in China and South America that are keen on using our advanced data centers,” elaborates Mr. Schuhmann. “Besides our expertise in the IT sectorh, the majority of our long-term partners attribute their satisfaction with our services to having one consistent and attentive contact person within the company. We very rarely lose clients and therefore continue to grow with every new one.”
