Norgesplaster was established as a corporation between the textile company Høie Fabrikke A/S in Mosby and the pharmaceutical producer Apothekers Laboratorium in Oslo. “We combined the knowhow of both companies and started making plasters and bandages for the Norwegian market,” says CEO Per Turnes. “This is what we still do. Today, we are represented in all pharmacies in Norway.”

This year, the company celebrates its 80th anniversary, looking back on 80 successful years and looking forward to an even more promising future. Last year, Norgesplaster took over another company from the industry to strengthen its market position.

“We merged both companies and divided our market areas after the merger,“ explains Mr. Turnes. “Scandinavia is our home market, which we provide with wound treatment products that are distributed through pharmacies. In addition, we offer first-aid products for ambulances and the medical industry as well as other industrial products, for instance for the shipping industry. For the export markets we offer semi-finished products such as rolls for ECG electrode production.”

The company has been active in the market of semi-finished products for almost 20 years and has become recognized as an excellent manufacturer with high-quality products and a stable supply. The portfolio comprises more than 1,200 different articles with adhesive products, cohesive products, bandages, stretches and personalized items.

Our vision is to become the preferred supplier in our sector, especially in semi-fi nished products in Europe and also in the area of medical products for pharmacies and consumers. Per TurnesCEO

Today, the company has 67 employees and revenues of 17.5 million EUR, a significant share of which is generated in more than 30 countries. “In the future, we want to continue to grow,” states the CEO. “Our vision is to become the preferred supplier in our sector, especially in semi-finished products in Europe and also in the area of medical products for pharmacies and consumers.”
