The Novotel Paris Les Halles was constructed in 1985 in a vivacious district where traditional and modern Parisian architecture converge. “We are in a truly dynamic neighbourhood in the heart of Paris,” explains Remi Tribolet, Head of Communications at Novotel Paris Les Halles.
Besides being within minutes of the Catacombs and the Cité de la Mode et du Design, the hotel is also conveniently located near several public transportation stops, which offer direct connections to other popular destinations like the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysées, or even Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Within the atrium façade of the Novotel Paris Les Halles, guests will not only find 285 chic rooms and suites, but also lively restaurants, elegant bars, and a unique range of Atelier H seminar and meeting rooms. At the restaurant and bar, fine dining is redefined by its esteemed chef, whose forte is creating seasonal specialties inspired by reinvigorating traditional French dishes with exotic accents.
“Everyone associates foie gras as a staple of French cuisine,” remarks Mr. Tribolet, “The restaurant totally reimagines the dish by pairing it with starkly contrasting flavours of bitter cocoa and candied ginger – a delight for the palate.”
The restaurant’s Le Patio extension is exquisitely designed as a transparent dome which allows visitors to enjoy their gourmet meals and signature cocktails year-round in the hotel’s Jardin Privé – an exclusive oasis away from the commotion of the city center.
For those interested in a more upbeat atmosphere, Novotel Paris Les Halles also has a piano bar that regularly hosts live musical acts. Allow yourself to be enamored by the sophisticated yet distinctly homey ambience of the Atelier H, an innovative concept developed to improve the productivity and cohesion of both business meetings and social gatherings.
“Atelier H comprises a diverse selection of one-of-a-kind seminar and conference rooms that were designed to allow guests to feel comfortable – much like they would in their own homes,” elaborates Mr. Tribolet. Specifically, participants have a fridge full of refreshments, like Alain Milliat juices or organic sodas, as well as an open kitchen at their disposal throughout the day.
Delegates may also choose to have homemade sweet or savory dishes prepared for their guests by the hotel’s resident chef. Individual rooms can be booked and prepared according to need with help from dedicated and cheerful event management staff.
Between excursions or seminars, guests can expect to enjoy a superbly rejuvenating rest in their room or suite. “Our top priority is to make our customers feel completely comfortable throughout their stay at the Novotel Paris Les Halles,” adds Mr. Tribolet. “We are a 4-star hotel that is well-suited for both business trips and family vacations.”
Each room is at least 25 m² with its own distinctive character. Novotel Paris Les Halles commissioned numerous eye-catching murals and artworks to be painted by Parisian artists, Mel and Kio, which are displayed throughout the hotel. In the Twin Executive room, guests will also find a large painting of the Seine prominently exhibited.
“We realize that simply offering a nice room and a good breakfast is no longer enough. Customers want their experience to be memorable. Technology plays a major role in that they have the capacity to book various services from the comfort of their own rooms,” says Mr. Tribolet.
Although Novotel Paris Les Halles technically belongs to the Novotel (Accor) chain, its owners champion a hands-on approach to the design, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of the hotel. Mr. Tribolet was drawn to the dynamic environment of the hotel when he started working in the sales department.
“We are fortunate enough to have an exceptionally vibrant team here – we are always on the move, thinking about how to expand our services to further improve our guests’ experience during their stay in this world-class city,” he explains.
The city of Paris evokes a certain unparalleled joie de vivre, which has attracted visitors from around the globe for centuries. From chic designer boutiques to quaint cafes, this cultural capital has something for everyone. Above and beyond the standard service package of most luxury hotels, Novotel Paris Les Halles provides its guests with a well-rounded and unforgettable experience in the heart of Paris.
