Reagens is a one-stop shop for additives and stabilizers for all types of PVC applications. With a highly diversified portfolio of around 700 different products manufactured worldwide, the company serves a wide customer range including producers of window profiles, pipes and floorings, and also offers stabilizers for packaging films for pharmaceutical and food applications, and wire and cables for the automotive sector, for example.
“We have our own R&D centers, and we replace around 20% of our products each year with new ones, focusing on developing more sustainable additives,” explains Dr. Ettore Nanni, CEO and son of the company founder Augusto Nanni.
Dr. Nanni, a qualified industrial chemist, is also the President of ESPA, the European Stabiliser Producers Association, and a board member of VinylPlus. “We develop so-called ‘building block’ products that are then customized to clients’ specifications thanks to our skilled technical team.” The ISO-certified company holds various patents on products and currently has several new developments in the patenting process.
Founded in 1952, Reagens has experienced strong growth and internationalization, particularly over the last 25 years, both internally thanks to its own research and development and through the acquisition of companies abroad.
Today, Reagens Group runs production subsidiaries in Germany, the UK, Argentina and the US as well as a joint venture in Asia. It has 220 million EUR in annual turnover and a solid financial position.
“We plan to strongly expand our activities in Asia in the near future,” the CEO states. For Dr. Nanni, Reagens’s core asset is its 420 employees. “We have a fantastic global team of highly skilled staff with huge knowhow and passion for the field they work in. That makes us efficient and convinces our customers.”
