Rossetto has mastered the art of making authentic Italian delicacies – a wide variety of bread, chocolates and other sweet treats – and has established an innovation center to share its extraordinary knowledge with others. The company is a widely acclaimed partner to bakeries and pastry shops in Piedmont and the Aosta Valley, providing everything they need from flour, chocolate, jam, butter, salt, sugar and deep-frozen products to packaging.
“My father founded the company in 1984 and focused on baking supplies,” states Sales and Marketing Manager Paolo Rossetto. “He first concentrated on the regions of Biella and Vercelli. Over time, the company has expanded in terms of geography, products and services and established partnerships to strengthen its competitiveness. Five years ago, we started cooperating with the Dutch company Debic. In particular, the partnership with the international Puratos group has been a milestone with a very positive impact on our further development.”
Rossetto has 23 employees and is headquartered in Mazzè. 45% of sales are made up by high-quality semi-finished patisserie products. The company puts a strong focus on service, guarantees reliable delivery and works with modern refrigeration systems to ensure outstanding quality.

“Today, everything is about quality,” stresses Mr. Rossetto. “For this reason, we carefully select raw materials; we import flour from France and work with the natural yeast O-tentic. It is based on natural fermentation and creates breads with authentic taste, texture and flavours based on the four ingredients flour, water, salt and O-tentic – just like in the good old times. We are the only one working with O-tentic; that really makes the difference.”
Rossetto loves to be different and to stand out from the market. Together with Puratos, the company established an innovation center where it organizes workshops that are greatly valued by customers. “Customers come and work with us to get new inspiration,” points out Mr. Rossetto. “Twice a month, we organize an event. We invite well-known international chefs to demonstrate their unique art of making the most exquisite culinary delights. We talk about the importance of attractive store design and other interesting topics. We opened the laboratory in 2017 and it has been a major driving force so far. Now, we are keen to continue growing; an increase of 20 to 30% in sales are within the realms of possibility.”
