We use the power of steam for a broad array of applications. Our strength is that we generate thermal energy through steam; our solutions are efficient, innovative and energy-saving.”
Spirax Sarco is a British company that was founded in 1888 in London. Ever since, it has constantly grown – partly due to strategic acquisitions. Today, the company has sites in 55 countries, two production plants in Italy, 50 operating companies and more than 180 local sales offices worldwide.
In total, Spirax Sarco has a headcount of 5,000 employees and turnover stands at more than one billion EUR. In Italy, the steam system specialists have 250 employees and annual sales of 60 million EUR.

“Condensate technology systems have always been Spirax Sarco’s core business,” states Mrs. Gaetani. “Today, thanks to our huge expertise, we offer products for markets such as food&beverage, healthcare and oil&gas industry. Last but not least, many cruise ships are equipped, for example, with water/oil-cooling solutions for engines and hot/cold sanitary water for drinking, cooking and laundry services.For this reason, in 2016, sales have increased significantly.”
