Tintoria Finissaggio 2000 dyes natural and synthetic fibers and technical fabrics, creating 100% consistent colouring. It also offers a digital printing service which spans the whole process, from conception and digitization of the designs to fabric printing.
“We combine our superb craftsmanship with new technologies to create the most complete and innovative textile printing service in the international market,” underlines Mr. Bardelle. The other key service is a complete range of fabric finishing operations such as waterproofing, flame and stain retardants, easy care and anti-static treatments, and many more, for all kinds of natural fibers including silk, cashmere and wool, as well as cellulose fibers such as linen, cotton and viscose, and technical materials.
“Although we began by processing knitted fabrics for the sportswear industry, and later progressed to the general clothing sector, we have, in recent years, diversified our portfolio to include technical products for the automotive, furnishing and outdoor industries,” says Mr. Bardelle. “We have also implemented a special bonding line for fabrics and membranes used in the production of high-performance textiles.”
Its sense of innovation gives Tintoria Finissaggio 2000 a significant competitive advantage. Its PUR Hotmelt technology, for example, enables the company to produce fabrics that in the past were unthinkable – double layers coupled with technical waterproof and breathable membranes.

Headquartered in the Biella region in Piemont in northern Italy, Tintoria Finissaggio 2000 employs 87 staff, and is the market leader in the fabric dying and finishing sector, both in terms of its progressive products and its unrivalled service level.
“Our team has unique know-how and expertise in all our production processes,” underlines the Managing Director. “This gives us an advantage in the market, and our customers confirm this through their feedback and their continuing stream of orders.”
The company supplies many of the big names in the Italian and international fashion industry, as well as car manufacturers, the furniture sector and other supplier industries in Italy, Germany and the rest of Europe. In 2005, Tintoria Finissaggio 2000 achieved a turnover of five million EUR; in 2018, revenues have reached eleven million EUR.
While direct exports only account for 5% of turnover, around 80% of the company’s products are exported indirectly through its famous Italian brand clients. After ten years of very strong growth, Tintoria Finissaggio 2000 is now entering a phase of consolidation, to ensure the effective bedding down of all its new technologies and production processes.
“In the coming years, we will, without a doubt, diversify into additional new sectors,” underlines Mr. Bardelle. “We will also continue to innovate. Our plan is to increase our research activities and launch more digitalization projects with our partners and customers. We will also look to enter new market territories and sectors.”
