With a Special Sense for Distinctive Fashion

Interview with Michele Ventrella, Managing Director of Ventrella GmbH

Ventrella GmbH Showrooms
The two showrooms in Munich and Düsseldorf: Perfect locations for events

For Michele Ventrella, fashion is less a profession than a calling: In the industry, he is known for his pronounced affinity for fashion and especially for his highly developed sense for unusual designs, which he always knows how to implement just as uniquely. With Ventrella GmbH, he founded his own agency in Munich in 2006, which has since become a sought-after partner for manufacturers and providers of exclusive Italian fashion in the high-end sector.

"The brands we represent all come from Italian manufacturers who invariably produce in Italy and are specialists in their field," says Michele Ventrella. He sees his agency as a creative partner to the manufacturers, supporting them in the development of their labels and collections, and today represents 22 different brands. This includes renowned labels such as AVANT TOI, Bazar Deluxe, GIEMME, Tagliatore, and nine:inthe:morning. "We offer distinctive, unique, and casual fashion. It is not formal, but still elegant and always reflects the personality of its wearer," Michele Ventrella is convinced. The manager places particular importance on a casual look with the highest quality of fabrics and workmanship: "Our brands are characterized by high-quality cuts and fabrics and an effortless casualness that stands out from the stiff design of many mainstream brands," he emphasizes.

Relaxed and very special

In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the Ventrella agency currently has about 500 clients; all of them carry various brands in the high-end segment. "Our retail customers have their stores in larger cities and in prime locations such as on the Kö in Düsseldorf. In addition to luxury brands, these retailers look for small labels that represent not everyday, very special fashion," explains Michele Ventrella. "This fashion appeals to end customers of all different ages who are themselves relaxed and casual, but place value on special materials and extraordinary cuts." Ventrella agency itself presents its fashion in two showrooms, one located at the headquarters in Munich and the second in Düsseldorf. "They are so cool that we often host events there," says the manager. "We invite our customers twice a year so they can get to know the new collections at our place." Maintaining close contact with customers and representing unique products that tell a story in which everyone can find themselves is also the vision for the future of Michele Ventrella.
