I. Overview

1. Overview of data processing

We collect and use personal data of users / visitors of this website only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. 
This data includes the IP address, which is processed on the webserver and stored for 7 days. 

2. Place of processing

The webserver used to display this website is located in Germany. A data processing agreement has been concluded with the provider in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.

3. Legal bases of data processing

We process data on the basis of the legal ground under Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR, which is data processing based on a balancing of interests. Our interest is the smooth operation of this website in conjunction with Article 32 GDPR to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the data.

If we process data based on a balancing of interests, as a data subject, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data, taking into account the provisions of Article 21 GDPR.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out according to Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR for the performance of pre-contractual purposes. The personal data collected for the use of the contact will be deleted after your inquiry has been resolved.

If you have consented to the use of tracking cookies, we process these data based on your consent according to Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. a) GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time and without giving reasons. Details can be found below in the section "Cookies". 

II. In detail: Which data is processed?

a. IP addresses / access data

When you visit our websites, personal data is processed to enable the contents of the website to be displayed on your device.

In order for the pages to be displayed on your browser, the IP address of the device you use needs to be processed. Additional information about the browser of your device is also processed.

We are legally obliged to also ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data processed with our IT systems.

For this purpose and out of this interest, the following data is logged based on a balancing of interests:

–   IP address of the calling computer (for a maximum of 7 days), in connection with
–   the operating system of the calling computer
–   the browser version of the calling computer
–   the name of the file accessed
–   the date and time of access
–   the amount of data transferred
–   the referring URL

The IP address is deleted from all systems used in connection with the operation of these websites after no later than 7 days. We can no longer establish any personal reference from the remaining data then.

The data is also used to detect and correct errors on the websites.

b. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small text files that are stored on your device. If these cookies require consent, you can see the information in the so-called "Consent-Management-Tool".

c. Web analysis

For statistical analysis, we use the open-source tool "Matomo" for web analytics on this website. No data is transmitted to servers that are outside our control with Matomo. Your IP address is anonymized immediately so that you remain anonymous as a user.

d. Contact data

We provide a contact form on the website for inquiries, through which you can send us your first and last name, email address and/or a phone number so that we can process your request. 
Furthermore, you have the option to send us an email for the purpose of an inquiry. We will process this data based on Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR either to fulfill an existing contractual relationship or to carry out pre-contractual measures.
We store the data as long as it is necessary for processing your enquiry. Subsequently, we will delete the data unless further business relationship arises from the contact.

VI. Data processing outside the European Union

Data processing outside the European Union does not generally take place by us. An exception are the services mentioned above, where data is transferred to the USA.

VII. Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to information about the personal data concerning you. You can contact us at any time for information.

For a request for information not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may require evidence from you verifying that you are the person you claim to be.

Furthermore, you have the right to correction or deletion or to restriction of processing, to the extent you are legally entitled to this.

Finally, you have a right to object to the processing within the scope of legal provisions. The same applies to the right to data portability.

VIII. Deletion of data

We generally delete personal data when there is no need for further storage. A requirement may exist if the data are still needed to fulfill contractual services to review and grant or defend warranty and, if applicable, guarantee claims. In the event of legal retention obligations, deletion will take place only after the expiration of the respective retention obligation.

IX. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data by us with a supervisory authority for data protection.
