Artificial Intelligence, automation, and volatile supply chains are fundamentally changing logistics. Companies must manage goods flows more efficiently, while simultaneously becoming more resilient against disruptions and making sensible use of ever larger amounts of data. These very issues will be the focus on September 2 and 3, 2026 at LogiNext Germany at the CCH Hamburg. The new congress fair combines a professional conference and exhibition and is aimed at decision-makers in logistics, transport, and supply chain management.

The range of topics spans from generative AI and robotics to digital resilience and sustainable supply chains, up to connected logistics platforms. A special feature is the close integration with the concurrent ALL ABOUT PORTS event: with one ticket, visitors can attend both events. This brings digital logistics and supply chain management into direct contact with port economy, maritime technologies, and infrastructure.

AI must work in everyday life

In the field of Artificial Intelligence, the discussion is increasingly shifting from technical possibilities to practical application. This is exactly where the conference program of LogiNext begins. Jennifer Beuth from the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML focuses on automation, AI, and innovative logistics systems, with an emphasis on transferring research results to business practice. Anna Lehmkuhl and Thomas Walter from the Otto Group provide insights into data-driven logistics and platform strategies. At the interactive Prompt-a-thon, participants can try out generative AI themselves and develop their own use cases. No prior knowledge is required, however, the number of participants is limited and prior registration is necessary.

Automation between Strategy and Implementation

Automation is also one of the central themes of the event. The Masterclass 'Automation Journey – From Strategy to Success' explores how companies can structure automation projects from planning to practical implementation. It's not only about new technology. What is crucial is where automation actually improves efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, and how investments can be measurably transferred into ongoing operations.

Supply Chains Must Become More Resilient

In addition to efficiency, resilience is gaining importance. Geopolitical changes, regulatory requirements, and disruptions in international supply chains have shown how quickly optimized processes can come under pressure. Wolfgang Lehmacher, former Head of Supply Chain and Transport Industries at the World Economic Forum, focuses on global supply chains between resilience, sustainability, and geopolitical developments at LogiNext. Critical infrastructure and resilient logistics systems are also addressed in a panel of the Hamburg Logistics Initiative.

Digital Logistics Meets Port Economy

The connection with ALL ABOUT PORTS is particularly interesting. Ports are central hubs of international supply chains and also places where digitalization, automation, and infrastructure immediately converge. Therefore, LogiNext extends its focus to maritime logistics and port innovations. Topics such as intermodal supply chains, global supply chain connectivity, digital ecosystems, and interoperability should be considered more closely together. The exhibition also addresses this connection. Announced companies include, among others, Lufthansa Industry Solutions, DAKOSY, Akquinet port solutions, octonomyAI, Stack & Track, Conlio Technologies, and JUMiNGO. They present solutions from areas such as AI, tracking, software integration, platform logistics, and digital supply chains.

Two Days for Digital Logistics

LogiNext Germany takes place on September 2 and 3, 2026, from 9 AM to 6 PM at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg. The program is particularly aimed at executives, strategists, and decision-makers involved in the digitalization and further development of supply chains. The topics show how greatly the requirements for logistics companies are changing. It is no longer just about transporting goods as quickly as possible from A to B. Data must be available, systems must communicate with each other, and supply chains must function even under difficult conditions. LogiNext Germany wants to show which technologies are already ready for use—and where digital possibilities actually become concrete solutions for practice.
