Even regions where there has historically been plenty of rain are now suffering from drought due to the effects of climate change. During these critical times, INGPLAN Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH from Coesfeld plays a key role in the sustainable use and management of water resources – with innovative solutions in drainage technology and modern approaches in infrastructure planning.

The INGPLAN Engineering Company mbH looks back on a history of over 60 years as an engineering office. CEO Frank Baumgarten joined the company in the mid-1990s and took over full ownership in the early 2000s. Initially focused on traditional road construction, he expanded the portfolio to include drainage technology and sewer rehabilitation.

Areas of Activity

Today, INGPLAN operates both in the private industrial sector and in close cooperation with the public sector. The ability to develop complex solutions in the area of infrastructure planning significantly sets the company apart from the competition. "Our broad portfolio makes us more resistant to market fluctuations," explains Frank Baumgarten. This versatility is a crucial factor in times of increasingly complex tasks. Through a strong network and partnerships, the company has been able to continuously expand and deepen its range of services.

Successful Projects

References include participation in the renaturation of the Emscher in the Ruhr area, where drainage networks for large companies were restructured. Another highlight is the soil and construction rubble wet processing plant in Hünxe – the first of its kind in Germany. Both projects underline the innovative strength of INGPLAN.

“Such challenges demonstrate our ability to provide customized solutions,” emphasizes Baumgarten. Long-standing customer relationships, some of which date back to 1999, attest to the reliability and competence of the company.

Future Plans

In the coming years, INGPLAN will increasingly focus on holistic planning approaches. The integration of sustainability and digitalization in all areas of infrastructure planning is at the forefront.

Frank Baumgarten emphasizes: "We need to look beyond the horizon and always consider planning spaces in harmony with their environment." This vision is supported by a strong partner network and the use of modern technologies. In addition, the company is strongly growth-oriented. With a clear focus on networking, diversification, and a modern work culture, the stage is set for further growth.

"Our success is based on teamwork and the ability to continuously adapt to new challenges," Frank Baumgarten summarizes.
