Creating Value in Textile Wholesale

A view into the automated warehouse of L-SHOP-TEAM: efficient logistics, high product availability and fast processes

The textile wholesale industry has changed significantly. Customers expect far more than product availability alone: speed, digital integration, supply-chain transparency and dependable service have become decisive competitive factors. Against this backdrop, L-SHOP-TEAM GmbH has established itself as one of Europe’s leading B2B textile wholesalers.

What began in 1981 as a promotional printing business has developed into a wholesale specialist serving textile resellers across Europe with a broad portfolio, strong logistics and a clear service philosophy. L-SHOP-TEAM’s development reflects both entrepreneurial consistency and a keen understanding of market needs. Over time, the company moved away from its origins in printing and built a focused wholesale model centered on textiles and related solutions. Today, it remains firmly committed to a pure B2B approach.

European B2B specialist

“We are absolutely consistent in our B2B positioning, and our customers can rely on that,” says Kristin Rademacher, Managing Director of L-SHOP-TEAM. Together with her sister Andrea Herrmann, she represents the next generation of ownership in a business co-founded by their father. That family continuity is combined with a long-term perspective that has helped the company grow steadily while remaining close to its core values.
A key part of that growth has been L-SHOP-TEAM’s international footprint. Rather than serving foreign markets only from Germany, the company has established subsidiaries in neighboring countries and works with local teams who know their customers and markets firsthand. “If you want to succeed in a market, you need people on the ground, close to the customer,” says Kristin Rademacher.

Solutions that help customers sell

L-SHOP-TEAM’s role goes well beyond supplying garments. “We provide solutions to our customers,” says Kristin Rademacher. “We do not just offer products – we think about what helps our customers sell.” Digital services are playing an increasingly important role in this effort, from streamlining ordering processes to giving customers better ways to manage projects and repeat purchases.
At the same time, logistics remain central. With a large warehouse and transparent stock visibility, L-SHOP-TEAM supports customers who often work on a just-in-time basis and need reliable, rapid delivery for orders that still require printing or embroidery.
“My sister and I come to work every day with the goal of making L-SHOP a little better,” says Kristin Rademacher. That mindset describes the company well: pragmatic, team-oriented and committed to continuous improvement. In a demanding market environment, L-SHOP-TEAM is showing that long-term success in textile wholesale depends not only on products, but on partnership, adaptability and solutions that create real value.
