From September 15 to 17, 2026, INTERGEO will open at Messe München. The trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation, and land management is no longer just for surveyors. In Munich in 2026, it will be about how geodata supports concrete decisions in infrastructure, administration, mobility, and real estate.

The Themes Behind the Trade Fair

The focal points show the direction in which the industry is moving: digital twins, reality capturing, AI-supported analysis, and connected data spaces. What was long considered a specialized discipline has become the data foundation for construction projects, climate adaptation, and the digitization of administration. For decision-makers outside of traditional surveying, this is precisely the reason to pay attention. The conference delves deeper into these topics. On the agenda are GeoAI, Earth Observation, BIM, Climate Tech, Engineering Geodesy, and unmanned systems. The program text prominently features AI and GeoAI. At the fair, it is worth asking what is running in real operations and what remains a demonstration.

Practical Relevance

According to the organizers, INTERGEO gathers over 530 exhibitors from 119 countries and approximately 18,500 visitors. It is supported by DVW and HINTE Expo & Conference GmbH; Hexagon, Autodesk, Esri, and Trimble are the platinum sponsors. For professionals in construction, administration, and real estate, the 2026 program offers more points of contact than the name of the trade fair might suggest. INTERGEO is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM in halls B5/6 and C5/6. Expo and conference tickets remain separately bookable, but this year's opening on Tuesday is open to everyone.
