Besides form complexity and diverse application possibilities, plastic casting convinces primarily through high dimensional accuracy and precise detail reproduction. For 45 years, Wild & Küpfer AG from Switzerland has been meeting the highest demands of its customers. The expert in precision plastic casting relies on a high degree of value creation and supports its customers from the initial consultation to on-site assembly.

“As a contract manufacturer, it's always about plastic products for us, be it individual parts or entire assemblies,” explains CEO Tobias Wild, who represents the 2nd generation of the entrepreneurial family. “We cover the entire process around the products, from consulting and the development of components with our own development team, to tool making and production. We currently produce on a total of 100 injection molding machines. In addition, we also take care of assembly and finishing as well as logistics and, of course, service offerings.”

Founded in 1979, the company has its roots in the industrial sector. It has a wide range of expertise and serves clients from building and electrical engineering, household and sanitary fields, among many others. Since 2005, medical technology has become a second pillar for Wild & Küpfer.

"This field comes with special requirements," says the CEO. "Most of our products are manufactured in a cleanroom environment. These rooms are specifically ventilated and air-conditioned, and the documentary requirements are accordingly high. We offer both disposable products and those that can be reused, such as surgical instruments and breastfeeding products."

Wild & Küpfer's clients are from all over the world, with the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) accounting for a significant portion. About half of the total business is from export activities.

"Thanks to our high degree of automation, we can compete internationally with our prices, even as a Swiss company," explains Tobias Wild. "Moreover, the quality of our work speaks for itself. We specialize in high-quality products, special materials, and a high degree of precision. Last but not least, we offer everything from one source, from development to delivery with our own trucks."

In the coming time, Wild & Küpfer aims to further develop both in the industrial and medical technology sectors. "Especially in the field of medical technology, we see a lot of potential for the future, especially when it comes to high-precision parts and microtechnology," says Tobias Wild. "As a family business, we have always focused on ensuring long-term competitiveness through continuous investment in innovative facilities. We pursue this strategy consistently in order to continue to be successful in the market. Anyone who wants to get to know us will have the opportunity to visit us at the following trade fairs in 2024: KPA, MedtecLIVE, and Fakuma. We look forward to their visit."
