Game Changers and Future Visions
The scannerbox developed in 2016 was a turning point. The combination of hardware scanner and software with DATEV interfaces made it indispensable for tax consultants. Today, more than 3,500 tax consultants use the product introduced to the market in 2017. Ease of use is crucial: documents are inserted, and the scannerbox optimizes and categorizes them automatically. Together with the Fraunhofer Institute, the AI-based RAR system was developed, which categorizes documents and facilitates tax declarations. With the introduction of electronic invoicing, the scannerbox, through its AI integration, has become indispensable for all paper documents.
The cloud-based DMS solution 'belegebox', hosted in Nuremberg, is a further development of the scannerbox and supports digital workflows by allowing documents to be easily shared, separated, or merged. The solution impresses with its intuitive operation and minimal installation effort of less than 60 minutes. The company aims to grow in the digitalization sector for SMEs by 2025, support existing customers with new software features, and expand as an IT systems house. The goal is for every entrepreneur in the Nuremberg metropolitan region to know the company. A marketing concept is being developed to increase sales and secure long-term success.
