Project logistics in conflict countries is a complex and high-risk endeavor that goes far beyond conventional logistics services. These regions are characterized by political instabilities, security risks, and often challenging infrastructures, which significantly complicate transport and logistics management. ROLAND Logistik GmbH specializes in these challenging regions.

As an international project forwarding company, ROLAND Logistik GmbH originated from project logistics and is always keen to evolve and open up new markets. The company specializes in particularly challenging regions of the world and offers complete logistics packages of the highest quality. Targeted and professional communication and an understanding of foreign cultures are key to success.

Integration and Quality

ROLAND Logistik GmbH, based in Delmenhorst near Bremen, celebrated its 10-year anniversary this year. "We specialize in supporting the German economy with logistics services in the Arab world," says Houssam Ammar, Managing Director, Shareholder and Company Founder. "Our strength lies in avoiding conflicts and helping our clients successfully carry out their projects on site." In addition to the Arab world, the company is also active in Africa and South America, with projects in Colombia, Brazil, and the USA. Clients of ROLAND Logistik GmbH include Siemens AG, which is supplied with power plant components to ensure electricity in the target markets.

About 50% of customers come from abroad. ROLAND Logistik GmbH is a family-run company with twelve employees, nine of whom have a migration background. "We see ourselves as a model company for the integration of immigrants," explains Houssam Ammar proudly. The company also offers German language courses on-site and places great emphasis on the quality of service work. ROLAND Logistik supports its partners not only locally, but also in Germany. When inspectors from partner countries come to Germany for inspections, they are picked up from the airport and communicated with in their own language. In addition to German and English, the staff also speak Arabic, Persian, Kurdish, Turkish, French, and Portuguese. ROLAND Logistik GmbH is continuously growing. "This year we hired three employees aged 20, 62 and 68, thereby also setting an example for the younger generation," reports Houssam Ammar. "At the end of the year, we also plan to open a representative office in Dubai. 'Made in Germany' is highly appreciated in the Arab world, so the Middle East remains our main business area."
