Interview with Dipl.-Ing. Joachim Heinisch, Managing Director of Arcasa Wohnbau GmbH

The low interest rate phase has triggered a sustained boom in the construction business, which previously experienced a long period of stagnation. Dipl.-Ing. Joachim Heinisch, managing director and co-founder of Arcasa Wohnbau GmbH based in Günzburg, meets the challenges of the industry with individual planning and customer satisfaction.

"The construction business is a difficult market, even though interest rates are currently favorable," he explains. "Currently, the lack of skilled workers in the trades is a major challenge. You need a good network and must plan solidly. Providing housing at affordable prices and energy efficiency are further challenges that are not easy to reconcile."

Custom Planning & On-Time Completion

Arcasa Wohnbau focuses on planning and building single-family homes, semi-detached houses, and townhouses, but also small residential complexes or multi-family houses including underground parking are part of the portfolio. The company's customers are predominantly private clients, especially young families, from the broader Günzburg area.

"We are set up in such a way that we can really plan individually," explains Managing Director Joachim Heinisch about the company's success. "We listen closely to our customers and can therefore assess them well. We know what they envision. Once we have hit the mark with their taste, things move very quickly. From the design planning to completion, we need 12 to 14 months. A project should not take longer than that because during this period, the clients bear a double burden. They usually have to pay rent for an apartment or a house where they live, and at the same time finance the construction during this phase."

Joachim Heinisch is confident that the favorable economic situation will continue. "We are well positioned in the market and our order books are full," he explains. "I can certainly imagine further growth, but in a manageable scale."
