With all the advantages the digital age has brought us, there are also challenges we need to handle. One of them is the environmental impact of big data centers. Norway has always been at the forefront in terms of sustainability and living in harmony with nature. Thus, it is no surprise that it is here where Green Mountain AS came to life. The company, based in Rennesoy in the southwestern part of the country just outside Stavanger, was founded in 2009 and offers ‘green’ data centers – green in the way that they provide sustainability in respect of being a truly carbon neutral data center, with renewable power and highly energy-efficient solutions.
