Time-saving domestic appliances fuelled the lifestyle revolution of the post-war period. Today, white goods are a fixture in every home in the developed world and give us more time for family life and work. Concerns regarding the environment are now the driving factor for new developments in the market. One manufacturer that has accompanied the development of the white goods sector from the 1960s to the present day is German company AWECO. It was recently taken over by the Chinese company Sanhua to form SANHUA AWECO Appliance Systems GmbH.
