Today, the role of the coffee roaster has never been more important as consumers demand an ever-greater variety of choice in the coffee they drink. From mild roasts to intensely flavoured espresso, there is a roast to suit every mood. One of the largest coffee roasters in Europe is UCC Coffee Benelux BV in Bolsward in the Netherlands. It has been experiencing strong growth in recent years also thanks to the trend for single portion coffee-making.
