‘Vario’ and ‘Free Flow’ are the names of the two new product lines. “All beds of the ‘Vario’ series are available in six different headboards and four different footboards,” says General Manager and co-owner Jens Wind-Friis. “There is a choice of two different types of stands and different colours, and the closets are available in a wide range of varieties, too.”
‘Free Flow’ is Jabo’s second series without under-bed drawers. Altogether, the furniture specialist offers around 15 different product series. “We only use high-quality raw materials, and all our products are of top quality. Everything is manufactured in-house, and we carry out regular quality tests. In addition to our wide choice of standard combinations, we also offer our clients customised solutions,” says Mr. Wind-Friis.
With an export share of around 98%, Jabo is a true global player, supplying furniture stores in Europe, with Germany being the company’s key export market, followed by France.
Mr. Wind-Friis looks to the future with confidence: “In 2009, we were heavily affected by the recession, and 2010 was not very good, either. Now, there is a strong positive tendency, and we have a 10% increase in our figures before the crisis. We will continue to bring out new products every year. Of course, we aim to enter new markets. Yet, at the end of the day, we are not focused on big turnover but on economic solidity and happy clients.”
