The finance crisis of 2008 resulted in significant change for many companies. In particular, those which focused on just one or two market sectors recognized their vulnerability, and many set out to diversify their services and spread their risk. TBP Engineering GmbH, an Austrian industrial plant designer, which at the time served the pulp and paper industries, was one such company. European Business spoke to General Manager Thomas Wimmer to find out how TBP responded to the crisis and the impact this has had.
